TSAB launches 'Working with Autistic Adults' webpage

Teeswide Safeguarding Adults Board (TSAB) has launched a new webpage titled 'Working with Autistic Adults' to coincide with World Autism Acceptance Week.
The new webpage aims to raise awareness of autism and provide the starting blocks for those who may work with autistic adults, to support the provision of accessible and inclusive services.
 
It includes practical steps for professionals to consider, as well as links to other websites and resources.

Pre-diagnosis and post-diagnosis services for Autism in Tees Valley - have your say!

The North East and North Cumbria ICB are looking to commission new Pre-Diagnosis and Post-Diagnosis services for Autism in Tees Valley.

As part of this process, they would like to hear from those who are over 16, who are either currently on the waiting list for a diagnosis or those with a diagnosis, and their families and carers.

ADHD Services in Stockton-on-Tees Survey

Healthwatch Stockton-on-Tees have been made aware of challenges facing people awaiting an ADHD diagnosis. We have been working with a local Healthwatch Champion and support services to gather additional intelligence about the lived experience of ADHD and the impact this has had on health and wellbeing.
