Care at Home (sometimes called "domiciliary care" or “home care”) is support provided to people in their own home to help them live independently and it includes support with personal care, meal preparation and domestic tasks.   The Council currently contracts with several Care at Home care providers and they need to ensure the service they commission is delivering the care and support needed.

If you are a family member, friend or informal carer of someone who uses the Care at Home service, the Council would like to know your views and experiences regarding:

  • What is good about Care at Home care services;
  • What is important to you about Care at Home care services;
  • What would improve Care at Home services, including the use of technology.

We would be grateful if you would take a few minutes to complete a short online questionnaire to let the Council know your views on this service and any suggestions you have to improve it.

Your views are important and the information you provide will help them to understand how well the Care at Home service is working.

The questionnaire is available online at: www.stockton.gov.uk/careathome-carers

The answers you give and any comments you make are confidential and you will not be asked to provide your name or contact details. However, if you choose to provide contact details, please be assured that your answers to this survey and any comments you make are confidential and will not be shared with the service provider.

If you have any questions about the questionnaire or how the information will be used, please contact Stockton Council.
